New York’s Museum of Modern Art, commonly known as MoMA, is one of the largest and most influential modern and contemporary art museums in the world. MoMA is a popular destination for art lovers as it houses an extensive collection of more than 150,000 works of art, from paintings and sculptures to photography, design and film, and offers a unique experience for those who want to explore the world of modern and contemporary art.
A “pay what you want” admission fee is charged daily from 4pm until close. This means that visitors can pay whatever they can afford to pay for museum admission. But that’s not all! In addition to its pay-what-you-wish policy, MoMA is free to all visitors on Fridays from 4 to 8 p.m.
Free Fridays and pay-what-you-want policies apply to New York State residents only.!
