The authorities said at least 11 people were injured in the Wal -Mart Supermarket in Michigan.
The authorities confirmed that a 42 -year -old suspect was detained in the case of Traverse City.
A nearby hospital said it is treating 11 victims. Munson Medical Center said, “As a result, our emergency room is currently experiencing more patients than ordinary patients.
The online video shows several police officers and ambulances in Wal -Mart parking lots.
The Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s office said, “We have been investigating the stabs of Wal-Mart in Traverse City.
The suspect was a Michigan resident and Michael Sea Sheriff told reporters. He added that the incident seems to be “random acts.”
He said that people in the store helped arrest the man and helped to treat the injured.
“This was always a joint effort, and as I mentioned, citizens and citizens worked hard.”
As of Saturday night, five were serious and six were critical.
The FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino said the federal agents are responding to provide local authorities with the necessary support.
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer said she was “contacting the law enforcement agency for terrible news.”
“Our thoughts are out of the cruel violence of the victims and the community,” she added.
Traverse City is about 255 miles (410 km) northwest of Detroit.
