15th anniversary of the founding of Healthy Home Economist!

Today marks the 15th anniversary of my first post on The Healthy Home Economist blog. 🥳

It was really fun!

Here are some fun facts about this labor of love:

  • There are 2259 articles posted on the blog, 1998 of which are written by me.
  • Hundreds of guest articles are written by over 30 different experts in the field, including dentists, doctors, naturopaths, chiropractors, nutritionists, nutritionists, homeopaths and farmers!
  • My youngest child was 4 when I started and is now a sophomore in college!
  • The blog has over 500 recipes organized into 16 main categories (with many more subcategories).
  • The blog has 289 natural remedies to help you solve all kinds of health problems.
  • I have shot over 300 videos demonstrating traditional cooking techniques in my home kitchen.
  • The Healthy Home Plus membership library contains 283 articles covering controversial and important health content that is highly censored in search engines and social media.
  • The blog's social media following across all channels totals over 250,000. This is all obtained organically. I have never paid a fan!
  • I have published three books (one was an Amazon #1 bestseller!) and have another four eBooks available through Healthy Home Plus.
  • The most popular page on the blog has remained the same since 2009: the homepage. To me this is a testament to all of you… Dear readers… We continue to share the simple and enduring wisdom of traditional diets and nature. Stay healthy with your family and friends by tackling the many fad diet philosophies that are popular for a while and then disappear within a few years.

Many people have been with me from the beginning…

Thank you very much for your continued encouragement and friendship🥰

Your article and recipe comments are so important to those new to traditional diets!

Needless to say, your participation is very useful feedback for me too!

What are my future plans?

Hint: Give yourself another 15 years! 🥂
