A few months ago, our lives changed overnight and our brains are still trying to figure out what it is. This is why you should not force yourself to be productive amidst all this chaos and give your body and mind time to get used to this new scenario.
Everyone’s experience of lockdown is different, but I’d like to share some of the things I’ve tried to incorporate into my daily routine in case it helps you too during this time.
•The power of writing things down: Plan your day. Grab a paper and pen and write down all the activities you need to do during the day, including leisure activities. Without guidelines to follow, you can end up having a lazy and unproductive day. Remember that excessive pleasure is not pleasure.
•Dress code: After a healthy breakfast, take off your pajamas and put on some comfortable, attractive clothing. How about spraying a little perfume on my favorite cotton and silk fabrics?
•Today’s menu: Drink water and include as many vegetables and fruits as possible in your diet. This will make you feel lighter and more passionate.
•Thank God for giving us the Internet. There are so many options to discover new activities and different ways to exercise. Schedule at least one online session per day, such as meditation, dance, fitness, or any activity that gets your body moving. (I learned thriller choreography!)
• TGIF: Be sure to relax on the weekends. Practice your hobbies, do some spring cleaning, cook delicious food, watch a new series and most of all, have fun doing nothing!
Lastly, if you’re looking to spruce up your at-home look and new lifestyle, here are a few brands that will help brighten your mood and mood!
