How to Make Magnesium Sulfate Paste, an Effective Ointment for Bursitis, Boils, Cysts, Ingrown Hairs and Other Skin Related Home Remedies.

Magnesium sulfate paste is an essential home remedy that can easily remove splinters without using needles.
This is a powerful removal ointment that works even on deep thorns, so much so that many people end up going to the doctor and spending upwards of $500 to have them removed (believe it or not… our healthcare system is so broken).
One of my most popular YouTube videos is one showing how to remove a thorn, and it's gotten over 250,000 views.
In the past, you could buy a small container of magnesium sulfate paste at the drugstore for less than $10.
But recently, we have been hearing from people that this important treatment is no longer available.
I tried searching for it myself but couldn't find it… at least not in the US.
Is it my imagination, or are the simple, cheap, non-toxic remedies available at drug stores slowly disappearing one by one?
Fortunately, this is just a temporary supply chain issue and not a serious problem.
In the meantime, here's how to make your own magnesium sulfate paste, aka “Epsom salt ointment.”
It only takes a few minutes to make a batch, and a small container will last for years!

guideline
Heat water in a small pan on the stove for 1-2 minutes. Do not use the microwave.
Remove the pot from the pot and place it in the hot water, stirring immediately until the Epsom salt is completely dissolved.
Let the mixture cool for 2 minutes, then pour the liquid into a small container. The mixture will harden into a soft dough as it cools.
Keep a container in your bathroom medicine cabinet and a spare in your kitchen medicine cabinet.
If the mixture is too hard when you use it, add a few drops of hot water to moisten and soften it again so that it can be easily applied to the skin.
