American Airlines launches seasonal service to Brisbane: Travel Weekly

American Airlines will add seasonal daily service between Dallas/Fort Worth and Brisbane, Australia, starting Oct. 27.

According to AA, the flight will be operated by a newly designed Boeing 787-9 aircraft with 51 Flagship Suite seats and 32 Premium Economy seats.

This will be the airline's longest direct flight.

The winter carrier will begin daily service between Dallas/Fort Worth and Rio de Janeiro on October 27, offer round-trip daily seasonal service between DFW and the Big Island of Hawaii (Kona), and expand to daily seasonal service between New York JFK and Rio de Janeiro.

Additional expanded winter service from American Airlines includes an earlier flight between Los Angeles and Auckland, New Zealand, on Dec. 5, and daily holiday service between DFW and Maui (Kahului) from Dec. 19 through Jan. 6.

Also for the summer season, American Airlines will offer a new daily route between DFW and Veracruz, Mexico, beginning June 12.

And on June 8, American Airlines will expand DFW service to Grand Cayman and St. Thomas.
