Rangers have received an offer from Turkish club Trabzonspor for captain James Tavernier.
Rangers are understood to be willing to sell the 32-year-old if his value is right as manager Philippe Clement rebuilds his squad this summer.
The Süper Lig club have already signed former Ibrox players Borna Barisic and John Lundstram, whose contracts have expired.
Tavernier joined Rangers in 2015 and has since become England's all-time leading scorer with 125 goals and 129 assists for the Eagles.
He won the Scottish Premiership, Scottish Cup and League Cup titles during his nine years at the club, and helped Rangers reach the 2022 Europa League final.
Former managers including Al-Ettifaq's Steven Gerrard and Besiktas' Giovanni van Bronckhorst have also been linked with a move for their former captain.
Speaking at Rangers' pre-season camp in the Netherlands, Clement revealed he would consider bids for players other than goalkeeper Jack Butland.
That could open the way for vice-captain Conor Goldson, midfielder Todd Cantwell and striker Cyriel Desus to leave the club if they express interest this summer.
He said, “If someone with the right amount of money comes along, we'll look at it, we'll discuss it. But always look at it, and then you have to replace someone, and you have to have enough money to replace them to make it better. Otherwise, it's no use. That's how you find the balance.
“I think there's only one player right now that I can't replace, and I'm sure the team won't pay him what he's worth, and that's Jack Butland. Everybody knows how I feel about him. All players fall into that category, but Jack doesn't.
“If someone comes in for £30-£40m they can replace (Butland) for that money. If the money is right they can replace him and do something else. We'll see.”
Rangers have signed seven players this summer, including Hamza Igamane, Jeffe, Clinton Nsiala, Liam Kelly, Conor Barron and Oscar Cortes, who rejoined on loan with an obligation to buy permanently in the summer. Mohamed Diomande has made his loan move permanent.
