Andrew Flintoff's 16-year-old son Rocky made his County Championship debut, scoring 32 points for Lancashire against Surrey.
Rocky batted fourth in a Division I game at Kia Oval on Thursday, throwing 64 pitches and driving in three runs.
He was out on the first ball after lunch on the first day, caught at backward point off the bowling of Jordan Clarke.
Rocky made his breakthrough this summer, becoming the youngest player to score a century for England Under-19s in an unofficial Test match against Sri Lanka A.
The teenager has made seven appearances for Lancashire in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup, scoring 88 runs from 115 balls against Middlesex at Emirates Old Trafford.
He also scored a hundred for England U19s in a one-day warm-up match against a Young Lions invitational XI, and his first hundred for the Lancashire second-team came against Warwickshire.
Rocky's father Andrew played 79 Test matches, 141 one-day internationals and seven T20 internationals for England between 1998 and 2009, helping the team win the Ashes against Australia in 2005 and 2009.
After retiring as a player, he worked as a TV presenter, but returned to cricket after a serious car accident while filming an episode of Top Gear.
He has worked as part of England's backroom staff in the white-ball format and was head coach of the Northern Superchargers Men in this year's Hundred.
Andrew was tipped as a possible successor to Matthew Mott as England white-ball manager in July.
Marcus Trescothick will take charge of the team on an interim basis during the eight white-ball games, which begin at home to Australia in September. Live on Sky Sports.
