Why should I plan my meals?
If you’ve never tried meal planning before, this is a game changer for you! Here’s why I swear by meal planning:
- Save time: No more 4 p.m. dinner panics. With a menu plan, you know exactly what's on the menu, what you need, and how long it'll take to cook.
- Save money: Get ready to be amazed. Meal planning is a huge help to your wallet. By organizing your shopping list for the week, you can easily find opportunities to buy in bulk and creatively reuse leftovers. It’s a clever way to keep more money in your pocket.
- Bye Bye Takeout: Planning dinner ahead and stocking up on groceries will reduce the chance of you stopping at the drive-thru. You’ll save more money and eat healthier because you’ll be cooking at home. Win-win!

Storing Leftovers for Meal Planning
I only plan my meals from Monday to Friday, because I have plans for the weekend or leftovers to finish the week! If you have leftovers, store them properly in an airtight container in the fridge.
