This noodle recipe is super easy to make! It takes a total of 20 minutes from start to finish, making it a great dish for busy nights. You can also add your choice of protein to make it a little more filling!
- Prepare the noodles: Cook the noodles al dente according to package directions. Drain the noodles and set aside.
- Homemade Teriyaki Sauce: Combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, ginger, and cornstarch in a small bowl. Whisk to combine, then set aside.
- Roasted Garlic: Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, then add the oil to the pan. Once the oil is hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Boil the sauce: Pour the sauce into the pan and continue to whisk. Bring the sauce to a boil, whisking, and whisk for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens. It will thicken quickly! If the sauce seems too thick, you can add a little water to thicken it.
- Add the noodles: Add the cooked noodles to the pan with the sauce. Mix until the noodles are completely coated in the sauce.
