Aqua Expeditions has announced that it will begin sailing to the Seychelles and Zanzibar on its new ships from December 2025.
“It has always been my dream to go on an adventure to East Africa and explore the region aboard a luxury expedition ship,” said Founder and CEO Francesco Galli Zugaro.
Details about Aqua’s sixth ship will be released at a later date. Aqua says it will feature a 1:1 crew-to-guest ratio and small group tours led by expert guides.
Aqua plans to offer five- and nine-night Seychelles itineraries that can be combined into a 14-night cruise. The itinerary will rotate into 10- and 11-night sailings to both the Seychelles and Zanzibar archipelago.
Guests will have the opportunity to visit biodiversity hotspots such as Aldabra, Cosmoledo, Astove, Perkwara Atoll, Kilwa Kisiwani and Pemba. The expedition will also visit African Banks, the northernmost uninhabited island in the Seychelles archipelago.
