Emmy Awards 2024: Baby Reindeer, The Bear, The Crown stars win

The hugely popular but controversial British TV hit ‘Baby Reindeer’ swept the Emmy Awards, taking home four trophies at the ceremony in Los Angeles.

Scottish comedian who created and stars the show Richard GuardHe won three of these awards (starring in the show, writing for the show, and executive producing).

His co-stars Jessica GunningFor her role as stalker Martha, she won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in a Mini-Series.

“Oh my gosh, those blinkers,” she said as she accepted the award.

“Thank you so much. I feel like I’m going to wake up right now and it feels like this was all a dream.”

The guard’s story of being stalked by women for years and sexually abused by male TV industry figures became one of the most talked-about shows of the year.

However, the “true story” claim has sparked controversy, and the real-life woman who allegedly inspired Gunning’s character is now suing Netflix for defamation, negligence, and invasion of privacy.
