Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Accused of Assaulting Teen in New Lawsuit

Another lawsuit filed Monday includes claims from a woman who says Mr. Combs raped her in a hotel room in 2004 when she was a 19-year-old college student.

According to the lawsuit, she met the music mogul at a photo shoot, after which he invited her and a friend to a private party at his hotel. Once they arrived, the suit alleges that Mr. Combs “grossed her, molested her, and ultimately raped her” despite her repeated requests for him to stop.

Tony Buzbee, a Texas-based attorney representing the accusers, said he is representing more than 100 people who plan to sue the rapper for sexual assault, rape and sexual exploitation.

Mr Buzbee said some of the victims included children. He said the lawsuit is being filed under the Sexual Assault Victims Protection Act, which allows victims to bring old claims.

“I will ensure that the allegations contained in the filed complaint speak for themselves and that I will work to ensure that justice is served,” Mr. Buzbee said in a statement after filing the lawsuit Monday.

“We expect to file more cases naming Mr Combs and others as defendants over the coming weeks as we continue to gather evidence and prepare documents.”

The lawsuit is the latest of more than a dozen lawsuits accusing the music mogul of assault, sexual assault and harassment.

He has denied all civil and criminal claims against him.

Mr Combs faces federal criminal charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. Last week, the judge tentatively scheduled his trial to begin May 5, 2025.

Mr Combs has been held in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, since his arrest on September 16. His lawyers have argued for his release pending trial, citing “appalling” conditions in the prison.

A federal judge in New York denied Combs’ bail request, saying he was a “serious flight risk.”
