An American singer has apologized after swearing on live TV during the US national anthem.
Loomis drew ridicule on social media after performing “The Star-Spangled Banner” during an independent candidate debate broadcast live on TV station C-SPAN last Wednesday.
On Instagram, she called the incident an “accident” and told the Freedom and Equal Elections team, which organized the debate, “I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to mess up the national anthem.”
