
In a statement, police said the rape “involved sexual intercourse without intercourse” and that the victim “was reportedly unable to resist the act.”
According to local reports, the Norwegian Royal Palace declined to comment on Mr Hojby’s recent arrest.
Mr Høiby was arrested by police at 23:12 (22:12 GMT) on Monday in a car with the victim from a separate incident.
He was charged with assault and criminal damage in connection with the incident on August 4.
