The Vitality Netball Horizon Series heads into a decider after a last-gasp goal from the Jamaica Sunshine Girls gave them a 50-49 win in Kingston.

Jamaica leveled the series at home after England drew 49-49 in the opener before beating Manchester 55-47 in the second to take a 1-0 lead.

The Sunshine Girls quickly jumped out to a 5-0 lead, but England grew into a contest that ended the first quarter with a two-goal lead, 12-10.

As Jamaica continued their lead by scoring three goals in the first half, England faced them in the third quarter and continued to close the game.

With a three-goal gap and a first quarter still remaining, the Vitality Roses went for the winning goal but Jamaica ran the clock down to seal the moment of victory, leaving no time for Jess Thirlby’s side to fight back.

The final match of the Vitality Netball Horizon series takes place on Wednesday 27 November.

Vitality Roses will play Malawi, South Africa and Uganda over four days at two stadiums in London and Nottingham on 1-2 and 8-9 February 2025.
