Luxury travel company andBeyond said its non-profit partner in Africa has been rebranded as Wild Impact.
Formerly called the Africa Foundation, the organization has been andBeyond’s non-profit partner in community and conservation development for 32 years.
The name change comes as andBeyond expands its product line to two continents, just as Wild Impact expanded into Asia and South America.
Founded in 1992 in the andBeyond Phinda Private Game Reserve in South Africa, Wild Impact works in 78 African communities and 13 nature reserves and seascapes in six countries. The non-profit’s philosophy is that supporting the sustainable development of communities living near core protected areas ensures the protection of these wild areas.
