Namibian hospitality group Gondwana Collection Namibia has launched the Reverie Kalahari Pod, an all-inclusive retreat for two, the latest addition to its Secret Collection of luxury properties.
Located approximately 20 miles northeast of Mariental, the new pod is nestled among the red Kalahari sand dunes and is inspired by the traditions of the local indigenous Khoi San people. Featuring a private plunge pool overlooking a private waterhole, you can spot wildlife including giraffes and oryx.
“Our vision for the Secret Collection includes touring Namibia’s key destinations,” said Gys Joubert, Managing Director of Gondwana Collection Namibia. “The opening of Reverie brings us one step closer to this goal, with the opening of Ekipa Etosha Pod in February.”
This property is currently accepting reservations through Gondwana’s online reservation system. Prices are approximately $1,500 per night for two people. This includes all meals, drinks and activities. The pods are designed to provide complete isolation, with activities and dining experiences tailored to guest preferences, including private dining under the stars.
This opening marks the continued expansion of the Gondwana Secret Collection as the company focuses on unique locations across Namibia.
