MCILROY started blisters in the third round with four birdies in Front NINE before gaining profits on the 15th, 16th, and 5th year.

Mcilroy said, “I felt the weather turned on six for us. “I literally hit Harry (Diamond) today.

“It really squeaked in 7, 8, 9, 10 for us.

“It was good to pick up a few birdies on the way.”

Shane Lowry hit his hole -in -one on the same day as Mcilroy!

Sepp Straka (-16), a round 2 leader, rescued the third round with four birdies in the last five holes and took one shot lead on the last day.

Justin Rose (-14) enjoyed another strong round by setting up the final round of the blockbuster while 68 people at 68 years of age set one shot behind Mcilroy and Lowry.

Scottie Scheffler continued to return to the third round with 69, while returning to his hand injury during the cooking last month.
