Apple considers the construction of the iPhone 17 air without port.

After reporting that Apple is adding “air” options to the iPhone lineup in January, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman provides more information about the upcoming Slimmer iPhone.

Gurman is scheduled to release the iPhone 17 air this fall and, like the MacBook Air, becomes thinner than the standard model and combines advanced and low -cost functions. Apple engineers needed “Herculean Efforts” to make thinner telephones with thinner batteries without sacrificing battery life.

Gurman also reported that Apple considered the first “full port -free iPhone” that executed all the charging wirelessly and performed all data sync through the cloud.

Apple, however, has decided not to go this path at least at the moment due to concerns about European regulators, which require smartphone manufacturers to support USB-C connectors.
