EMMA Raducanu is a split with Coach Vladimir Platenique in just two weeks | Tennis News

Emma Raducanu is looking for a new coach after breaking up with VLADIMIR Platenik after failing for two weeks.

British NO 2 reached the second round of the Miami Open on Wednesday, winning a comfortable continuous victory over Sayaka Ishii of Japan, but without Plato Nick.

A spokesman for Raducanu confirmed: “EMMA and VLADO broke up.

“EMMA respects VLADO and their work as much as possible, but did not head in the right direction.

“EMMA is now focusing on what she can do in Miami after her solid start today and will continue to find the right coach.”

Raducanu reflects her victory over Sayaka Ishii in Miami Open.

Raducanu recruited Slovakian Platenik for two weeks ahead of Indian Wells Masters, but the first round of Moyuka Uchijima’s hand removed the end of their cooperation.

It is Raducanu’s return to the coach’s market, and the long -term successor of Nick Cavaday has not yet been supplied.

Cavaday has been lost to Iga Swike in the third round in the role of Raducanu for health reasons since the Australian opening.

Raducanu, including the virgin Miami Open on Wednesday, won two games since Cavaday departed.

Raducanu faces the eighth seed of the tournament on the second round on Friday and meets Live on Sky Sports.
