Weapons and cloned police and military uniforms were seized on Friday while attacking the police in the northwestern Manabí.
The video of the attack shared on social media showed that the gunman entered the ring to fire.
According to local media reports, attackers of fake military equipment suggested that competitors were members of a criminal organization in a rooster.
Local authorities have begun criminal investigation.
It is believed that 20 criminal organizations are operated in the Latin American countries and compete to control major drug routes.
President Daniel Novoa, Ecuador, now flows about 70 percent of the world’s cocaine before he is transported to the United States and Europe through the Ecuador port.
The drug is smuggled with Ecuador from neighboring Colombia and Peru, the largest cocaine producers in the world.
This January has seen 781 murders and has become the most fatal moon in recent years. Many of them were related to illegal drug transactions.
