
Kenya’s parliamentarians were suspicious assassins and died on the streets of Nairobi, the capital by a motorcycle.
The police said the attackers shot him from the motorcycle and shot him from a close distance.
A police spokesman for Muchiri Nyaga said in a statement that “the essence of this crime seems to be a target and predetermined.”
The opposition MP complained about the threat of his life two months ago, local media reported.
After the shooting on Wednesday, he did not play all his drivers and bodyguards, and he announced that he died as soon as he arrived as soon as he rushed to the injured MP.
The attack occurred along the NGONG ROAD near the busy round intersection, which was often attracted by a traffic police officer and secured a security camera.
Immediately after the shooting, senior police commander and detective visited the scene and the investigation was in progress, the police said.
President William Luto ordered the police to thoroughly investigate the attack.
Fellow legislators who visited the site expressed shock and anger at murder and demanded rapid investigation and justice.
Congress’s speaker Moses Wetang’ula described MP as “fearless and prominent” legislators, calling the shooting “destructive”.
He represented the Kasan Constitutional District in western Kenya as a member of the Orange Democratic Movement led by veteran politician Raila Odinga.
In his statement, Odinga condemned the murder that the lawmaker was “shot by the assassin by the ruthless and cold blood.”
“We lost the brave son of the soil!” Odinga has been added.
O Dinga was in the 2022 election to President Luto and refused the results due to irregularity.
The former prime minister later struck a political deal with Luto, and some opposition parties joined the cabinet called “extensive government.”
