Iran’s fourth round of Tehran’s nuclear program has been delayed.
Oman Foreign Minister, who promotes negotiations, added that the Saturday talks in Rome are changing their schedules for logistics, and a new date will be determined when agreed on all aspects.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth warned that Aran would “pay the results” for the support of Yemen’s Hordy rebels on Thursday. Washington also announced sanctions against Tehran this week.
Donald Trump withdrew the United States from the previous nuclear agreement between Iran and five other world forces in 2018 and said it would be “better” for a long time.
Trump warned of military action if this new conversation, which began in April, is not successful. The two sides described the first meeting of Oman Capital Muskat as “constructive.”
Iran’s Foreign Ministry confirmed that the latest dialogue has been delayed, but Washington has not yet mentioned it.
But the US sources without a name told Reuters that Washington did not participate in the fourth meeting and no timing was confirmed.
Delay does not mean that the conversation has fallen. Both sides eagerly want to avoid war.
But Tehran’s report explained that there is a growing doubt about the usefulness of the talks and new sanctions and the Tehran’s contradictory position.
Sanctions, which were published on Wednesday, a part of Trump’s “maximum pressure” policy on Tehran, said the US is involved in illegal trade of Iranian oil and petrochemicals.
In the statement, the US State Department said, “The Iranian regime continues to develop nuclear programs in the Middle East and support terrorist partners and proxy.
“Today, the United States is taking action to prevent the flow of income that the regime uses to fund these unstable activities.”
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman said that recent sanctions are “further evidence of the contradictions and shortages of goodness.”
Iran’s media reports also pointed out HEGSETH’s position on X early Thursday, which is leading the US delegation by Steve Witkoff by Trump’s special mission.
“Message of Iran: We see fatal support for HOUTHIS. We know exactly what you are doing. You will pay the results at the time and place we chose.”
HOUTHIS has declared some of the “resistance” of Iranian groups on Israel, the United States, the United States, and the wider western part with armed groups such as Hamas and Lebanon Hezbola movement.
In November 2023, the United States has begun several deadly strikes at Houti Targets in recent months in response to the group’s attack on the Red Sea Transportation, which began with the response to Israel’s military campaign in November 2023.
Trump said he is looking for a solution to close Iran’s passage for the construction of a nuclear bomb. But in his executive, there are people who are pushing for a complete dissolution of Iran’s nuclear reinforcement program.
They are also promoting Iran to stop supporting the proxy of the region, including HOUTHIS.
Iran says the program has a peaceful and abundant right. It is hoped that transactions limit the nuclear program in return, but do not dismantle.
Since Russia, Iran has been the most extensive sanctions in history, that is, the sanctions imposed by the United States.
President Massud Pezhkian focused on Iran’s economic policy on promises to release these sanctions.
