
European leaders urged Russia to agree with Ukraine for a 30 -day truce with Monday.

The meeting was a symbolic response to more than 20 leaders who joined Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday.
The 30 -hour truce that President Putin unilaterally called to mark Russian Victory Day will end on Saturday. It saw a reduction in the fight, but both sides condemned other violations.
The union of will was formed to strengthen its final peace contract with security guarantee, including the possibility of deploying an army in Ukraine.
Trump had previously called Zelensky and repeated a 30 -day armistice request.
“If the ceasefire is not respected, the United States and that partner will impose additional sanctions,” he wrote on social media.
Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for Kremlin, said Russia has already been “used to sanctions.”
Meanwhile, Dmitry Medvedev, former Russian president and currently deputy director of the Russian Security Council, told the European Union that “this peace plan has been pushed.”
The other leaders who joined the meeting remotely included Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Canadian PM Mark Carney, European Commission Ursula Von Der Leyen, and NATO Secretary -General Mark Rutte.
Despite the claim of a temporary truce in Russia, reports of Russian attacks across Ukraine continues.
In the Sumy region, 85 -year -old women were killed, three other injuries were injured, 19 houses were injured, and 10 other buildings were destroyed or damaged, Ukrainian police said.
Ukraine’s emergency service DSNS was injured in Kostyantynivka in the eastern Donetsk region, and two apartment blocks caused fire, the Ukrainian emergency service DSNS said.
And in the southern city of Kherson, a 58 -year -old resident of 58 years of age was attacked by Russian drones carrying explosives, seeking medical help, the local administration said.
