EMMA Raducanu: French Open Doctor has been checked, but we are fighting to set up blockbusters with IgA SWIATEK. Tennis News

EMMA Raducanu overcame the long -term medical time that has won a passionate three -set first round in the French Open and started a blockbuster meeting with four champions Iga Swike.

When a 22-year-old boy demanded a doctor, he led the Chinese king Xinyu 6-5 in the first set, rubs the ice on the cheek and rubs around the eyes when he checks the blood pressure.

There was a fear that Raducanu, who had a series of injuries and disease problems throughout his career, would have to retire in the game. But after three minutes of treatment, she returned to court and provided a set to love with confidence.

WANG cried to take the second set, but in the cramped coat 8, Raducanu won the Gutsy 7-5 4-6 6-3 victory in 2 hours and 44 minutes in front of a large crowd.

Raducanu told Laura Robson and Tim Henman in TNT Sports:

“I don’t feel good. I would have been worse if I lost the game, but I was really struggling from the beginning.

“She was a tough opponent. She was actually able to take the racket out of your hands and I was really flat but happy to find the way.

“The opening round is never easy and I think it’s just a combination of many things because it’s not here for three years.

“I can do a positive thing about the fact that many of the best players have had a hard time in the first round, but I have a different opportunity and give another opportunity. My heart has come and I am very proud of it.”

Raducanu needed a long medical time through a marathon with the king in the packed court 8.

Before the start of the game, Raducanu admitted that the problem was still 100 %, such as last week’s Strasbourg.

In 2021, the American champion had to overcome the needle phobia to get acupuncture to alleviate the problem.

Raducanu’s movement seemed to have not been disturbed by the problem, but her energy level seemed to be low.

When the second set began, British NO 2 again took a 5-1 WANG, which took two digits of 43 years old.

Raducanu retreated two times and dug deep, but the 23-year-old king, Roland-Garros’ doubles champion, scored a set point on his opponent’s sub and the second game.

Raducanu disappeared from the court for a while in the transition and her return immediately took a decisive break.

She wasted two points on her sub, but the king’s double defects won a violent victory in the next game.

Raducanu added the following ahead of the SWIATEK, who won 22 games in the event.

“I think my game is in a pretty good place. So good challenge.”

The fourth champion and the World NO 5 SWIATEK won her victory at the French Open by hitting Slovakia’s Rebecca SRAMKOVA 6-3 6-3.
