Austrian GP: Alex Dunne is impressed with the first practice and the fastest George Russell in MAX VERSTAPPEN | F1 news

George Russell is the fastest in Max Vestappen in the first practice of Austrian Grand Prix when Alex Dunne was impressed by McLaren’s debut.

Canadian race winner Russell Sky Sports F1 Mercedes talks about the future of VERSTAPPEN and DUTCHMAN and hit his rivals at 0.065s on Red Bull’s home track.

The championship leader OSCAR PIASTRI was third, and Dunne replaced Lando Norris as the first session in Austria, ranked fourth, and only two seconds of Face Set Setter Russell.

The F1 team had to meet the rules of running a rookie in at least four practice sessions during the season, so Mclaren gave Dunne a chance to shine and clearly attracted the ranches.

Dunne (19) led the Formula 2 Championship and became the first Irish driver to compete on the F1 race weekend since Ralph Firman in 2003.

Dunne said on the radio after the session, “I want to say great gratitude. The dream of a young boy was fulfilled, and this is definitely the best day of my life.”

“Thank you to all those who have made me work and thank you for believing in me with his car thanks to Lando.”

Born in OFFALY on November 11, 2005, Dunne ranked cart and single -sitter with impressive campaigns such as completing Kimi Antonelli of Italy F4.

He is currently a F2 championship leader and emphasized the quality with the “impressive” practice debut according to the Principal Andrea Stella.

“You want him to go well with a good session. I admit everything.

“He looked so strong in F2 and did a fantastic work. I couldn’t be proud of him.”

“Alex was quite diligent and impressive, and he also had a chance to show speed and surprising, Stella said. Sky Sports F1.

“I think we have to be a little careful while watching Rap Time, because he came out later when the fuel broke down.

“But I think it’s encouraged and impressive from Alex’s own point of view, and I think it’s a good session for MCLAREN.”
