
James Wade and Johnny Clayton won the world match play semi -final on Saturday after winning Winter Gardens in BlackPool on Saturday.
WADE found eight impressive legs for 16-13 victory with Gian Van VEEN, and Clayton was comprehensively in 16-7 with Stephen Bunding.
The victory showed that Wade advanced to his 10th match play semi -finals and opposed the consecutive 20th consecutive appearance in the 2024 BLACKPOOL.
Meanwhile, Clayton entered the second winter garden semi. In 2023, he lost to Nathan Aspinall in the final.
The semi -final will display the 30th meeting between the pairs. Clayton enters with winning statistics 16-13.

How Wade vs Van VEEN developed…
