Air India will stop the New Delhi-Wash Turn DULLES from September 1.
AIR India is currently flying three times a week, which includes the current stop of Vienna. Prior to June, the airline flew to a non -stop between New Delhi and Dulles.
The airline said it will stop the route flight due to the lack of fleets by modifying Boeing 787-8 with a modern interior, including the new suite of business class. AIR India said at least several 787 could not be used at least by the end of 2026.
In addition, as the Pakistanian airspace, which began in early May, was closed to Indian Airlines, the flight time between New Delhi and the United States increased, adding operational complexity.
The AIR INDIA press release did not mention the decrease in demand after 171 flights on June 12, which led 260 passengers, crews and bystanders. The airline has expanded its DC service five to three times a week after the incident.
According to a preliminary report by the Indian Aviation Accident Investigation Bureau, the two fuel cutoff switches were not concluded about the cause of the collision, but the two fuel cutoff switches were clearly investigated by the pilot.
