Tennis’s latest superstar Victoria MBOKO wants to be followed by winning the top 10 open titles from the footsteps of Emma Raducanu.
Last year, MBOKO was ranked 351st and lost its opening match with ESZTER MERI in the Zagreb’s W50, but it was quickly delivered for 12 months, and Canada was a WTA 1000 champion after electrically reliable Montreal crowds for the title.
MBOKO, who turned 19th on Tuesday, became the 12th player in the open age and defeated four grand slam champions in one tournament such as Sofia Kenin, Coco Gauff, Elena Rybakina and Naomi Osaka.
She became the first player to achieve Roy since the opening era in the open era after Wimbledon 2023’s ONS JABEUR and Elina Svitolina’s Serena Williams after US Open 1999.
Her amazing run in front of her house crowd, she sprinkled her in the world NO 24 and the seeds of flushing meadows. I live in SKY SPORTS.
MBOKO was inspired by the title of New York in Raducanu’s running in 2021, and 19 -year -old Canadian Bianca Andreescu was angry with Serena Williams in 2019.
“I think they’ve proved that you can do everything you have your heart. They both were abbreviated as Grand Slam. So I prove that trophy exists for everyone and can do anything.”
“Especially, I was especially huge in Canada, especially in Canada. I was really happy for her. I was just happy here.
MBOKO admitted, “Everything happened very quickly.” “After Montreal, I have interviewed a lot of conversations, which is at least not used as before. I like to enjoy it. I like to talk with new people and experience new experiences. It’s just a part of game and travel.
“Looking back, it was really nice to experience what I had to do, and again, it is in the past. So I can look back on it and look back at it and smile a little, but I have more things in the future. So I really look forward to it. I am happy.”
Who is Mboko?
MBOKO is a 18 -year -old Canadian tennis player and the youngest of four tennis players. I was born to Congo’s parents in Charlotte, North Carolina, and grew up in Toronto.
She promised as a junior, and in 2022, she made a partnership with Kayla Cross at DoubleS Draw in the Canadian Open in 2022.
Her first single came from the 2022 Championnats Banque Nationale de Granby, who received a wild card and was done by a fellow Canada Rebecca Marino. In the same year, MBOKO earned its first professional single title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
MBOKO was eligible to receive the first Grand Slam Main Draw at the French Open this year, coached by Nathalie Tauziat, the world’s No. 3 and 1998 finalists in the world, and she arrived in the third round, and she was in the 25th seed Magdalena Fren. I was angry in the first round in Wiwledon.
Former Wimbledon finalist Genie BouChard said MBOKO’s rise was “not surprising.”
The recently placed BouChard said: “Anyone who knows her in Canadian tennis will not be surprised, she has too much power in the game, and I knew that she would be really good because she practiced with her and bowed me in court at the age of 14 or 15.
“I am very happy to see what happens in this big event. She seems to be really good at handling the moment and taking everything to the stride and using it as a motivation.”
After winning MBOKO’s Gauff, BouChard said, “I was impressed with how cool, calm and calm in court. She looked much more mature than 18 years old.
