Journey Beyond, Australian travel operator specializing in railroad journey, has acquired New Zealand -based Grand Pacific Tour.
This acquisition is outside the company other than Australia. Grand Pacific is a Coach Touring Company and will join the portfolio beyond the journey in September.
Beyond Chris Tallent, the journey said, “It means the growth stage of the next stage.”
The acquisition will complement the night rail tour collection of the journey, the operator said. Grand Pacific runs two styles of coaches. It consists of a small group of up to 20 travelers and up to 32 passengers.
Founder and executive director Peter Harding will remain as general manager with Grand Pacific. Stacia Morris General Manager and other Grand Pacific team members will travel.
