Club Med to Book for the first Safari Resort: Travel Weekly

On October 13, the CLUB MED will open a reservation for the first South African resort. Club Med South Africa Beach & Safari is scheduled to open on the eastern coast of South Africa in Kwazulu-Natal in July 2026.

CLUB Med is the first to combine the “exclusive safari adventure” with the resort experience. The resort has 411 accommodations, including 66 suites. The plan requires four swimming pools, two restaurants and several bars.

OCEANA will be a restaurant all day off, and Nguni Gourmet Club will showcase South African seafood and agricultural products.

Guests can exclusively access the resort’s MPILO Safari Lodge in the 44,479 Aker Game Reserve. There is a guide safari drive every day, including drives designed for families with children.

This property also includes a variety of children’s products, including the Baby Club Med+, including the first surfing school, wellness center, and a teenage program called Mini Club Med+ and Chill Pass, designed for children aged 4-10 years.
