victor: It has to be that way Luke Littler. The longer the format, the harder it will be to beat him. I think he will repeat last year’s feat and win the title.

Surprise Package: i am going Michael Smith.
People very, very quickly forgot how special this person was. I have every faith that he will return to his winning ways.
He’s an absolute world beater about it. I hope I get to see him fly.
John Part’s prediction…
victor: I would go with Littler over and over again. He is on a mission to win these tournaments and the last few rounds of the format suit him. I think his group is easy to manage for him. So I like his chances of repeating.
Surprise Package: If I could pick a No. 8 seed as an outsider, I would pick Chris Dobey as an outsider.
I like how he has performed in the last few lead-up events. He’s a good, consistent, strong player and he’s in a group he can manage. I think he can make it to the finals if he sticks to his game.

Glenn Durant’s prediction…
victor: I need Gerwyn Price to win and win another Grand Slam title.
Surprise Package: Danny Noppert is a value pick. He is always consistent.
Road Stud Forecast
victor: Gerwin Price. He holds excellent course and distance records with three wins, and ‘The Iceman’ is clearly in his best form.
Surprise Package: Johnny Clayton. He has reached one final and three semi-finals so far in 2025 and I think he is well placed in the draw.
Emma Patton’s Predictions
victor: Luke Littler. Yes, I know this is boring. However, it is very difficult to bet against Luke Littler. Unless, of course, someone catches him early. But I don’t think that will happen and I think we will show good performance in the group stage. He is aiming for the world number one spot and has his sights set on more majors. So for me the year of Nuke continues with Slam!
Surprise Package: Beau Greaves. Yes, she is in a group with Michael van Gerwen, Gary Anderson and Niko Springer, but she is arguably the form player. After her previous two Grand Slam appearances where she was mixed with the big dogs, she was further equipped to do some damage this time around. Players will be more afraid of her than she is afraid, so I’m backing Beau for the challenge!

Luke Littler has won 15 consecutive Grand Slam Of Darts finals.
victor: It’s really hard to watch Luke Littler defend his title. He will be hurt after failing at the European Championships.
And he’s chasing the world number one spot, which gives him extra incentive!
But he could face European champion Gian van Veen, who is flying high and is ranked in the world’s top eight and aiming to qualify for the 2026 Premier League.
Surprise Package: Good to see Michael Smith back. sky sportsI made it through the preliminaries but won.
He has endured miserable times, but as we will see, the form is only temporary!
It would be great to see Smith reach the top half of the draw and show his world champion pedigree once again.

victor: Luke Littler – I can’t get past him right now. Especially on a big stage and at this time of year, he’s out to defend his Grand Slam title!
Surprise Package: Queen Beau Greaves! I’m not sure if her leaving the group would be that surprising since she’s absolutely capable. But once she tastes victory and gains that confidence, she becomes dangerous. No one will want to play with her.
