How to Make Sweet Chili Chicken
This sweet chili chicken recipe is quick and easy and full of sticky, sweet goodness that clings to the crunchy bites. Enjoy an Asian-inspired meal with fried rice and Kung Pao Brussels sprouts.
- Seasonal Chicken: Place chicken pieces in a large bowl, then season with garlic salt and paprika. Crack 1 large egg over the chicken and massage with your hands to evenly coat the chicken.
- Cornstarch Coating*: Transfer chicken to a large zip-top bag. Add 1 cup of cornstarch to the bag, seal it, and shake to coat the chicken well.
- Pan Fried Chicken: Heat a medium skillet over medium heat and add vegetable oil for frying. Add coated chicken and cook for 7 to 8 minutes or until cooked through and browned.
