Caroline Dubois defended her title with a dominant points win over Britain’s WBC lightweight champion Camilla Panatta in six rounds.
Dubois showcased her punching power and dropped her Italian opponent with a right hook before earning a unanimous decision victory by three points, 99-90, in the undercard of Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua in Miami.
The undefeated 24-year-old is likely to clash with American Alicia Baumgardner, who has requested a fight with the Briton after defending her WBO and IBF super featherweight titles with a win over Canadian Leila Baudouin.

In a move to achieve equality in boxing, Baumgardner’s fight with Beaudoin lasted over the same three-minute rounds as the male fighter, with the Detroit fighter vacating one of his belts to allow longer rounds to be introduced.
Beaudoin was defeated in the seventh round, but put up stubborn resistance until the final bell as Baumgardner won by unanimous decision, 117-110, 117-110, 118-109 on aggregate.
