Serving Size: 3
- 1 loaf hard bread Sourdough or Vienna is the best.
- 1 cup finely chopped mozzarella cheese Or any other good melting cheese
- 1 rod butter softened
- 2 large in size garlic cloves chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine butter, garlic, and salt in a heatproof bowl. Microwave until melted, then stir in parsley.
Using a sharp knife, cut bread diagonally into 1-inch diamonds. Be careful not to cut all the way through.
Carefully lift each cut, drizzle with about 1 teaspoon of garlic butter, then tuck in the cheese.
Spread the remaining butter on the outside of the bread, letting it drip through the cracks.
Cover the bread loosely with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 5 to 10 minutes more, or until top is golden and cheese is melted and sticky. Serve immediately when warm and melted.
