main ingredients
To make these No Bake Chocolate Strawberry Snacks you need just 3 ingredients.
chocolate – I like semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips. If you wish, you can use milk or white chocolate. Both standard size and mini chocolate chips work, as do sugar-free chocolate chips.
strawberry – Choose fresh strawberries with the stems removed. Or, thaw frozen strawberries and wipe off any ice crystals before cutting them.
Vanilla Yogurt – This may or may not be sweet. Full-fat Greek yogurt or very thick dairy-free yogurt is the best choice because of its thick, creamy texture.
Sweetener (optional) – If you use unsweetened yogurt, consider adding 2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup or honey. Or add stevia drops or sweetener of your choice.
Coconut oil (optional) – Mixing a little oil into the melted chocolate creates a smoother sauce that makes it easier to coat the strawberry chunks.

How to Make Healthy Chocolate Strawberry Yogurt Clusters
- Start by lining a baking sheet or large plate with parchment or wax paper. Set this tray aside.
- Wash the strawberries, chop them finely and discard the stems.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine yogurt, chopped strawberries, and sweetener (optional) and stir until well combined.
- Using a spoon, drop dollops of berry mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each into patty shapes.
- You can freeze for a few hours until completely frozen, or overnight.
- Carefully melt the chocolate chips using the microwave or double boiler method. (For those who want detailed instructions on the correct way to melt chocolate, see this post on chocolate covered strawberries.)
- Once the chocolate sauce has melted, I like to stir in a few teaspoons of coconut oil for a smoother consistency. This step is optional.
- Take the strawberry chunks out of the freezer and dip them into the melted chocolate.
- Then place it back in the freezer for a few minutes until the chocolate coating hardens.
- Enjoy it cold. Freeze leftovers in a tightly covered container for up to 3 months, or store them in the refrigerator for up to 4 days for a much softer texture.

Chocolate Yogurt Bites Variations
raspberry: Replace strawberries with chopped fresh or frozen raspberries.
Blueberries: Swap out strawberries for fresh or frozen blueberries. Find small berries or cut large ones in half.
Peanut Butter Banana: Stir 2 tablespoons peanut butter (or almond butter or powdered peanut butter) into the yogurt. Use chopped bananas instead of berries.
Pomegranate: Add 1.5 cups of pomegranate arils instead of strawberries.
Strawberry Nutella: Stir 3 tablespoons of bottled or homemade Nutella into the yogurt. Dip in chocolate and immediately top with flaky sea salt and crushed hazelnuts.

The recipe is based on my Chocolate Raspberry Bark and Buster Bars.
1. Line a baking sheet or large plate with wax or parchment paper.
2. Add the chopped strawberries, yogurt, and sweetener to a large mixing bowl and mix well.
3. Spoon the mixture into the baking tray, drop by dollop. Then, using a spoon, flatten each into patties.
4. Freeze for at least 3 hours or overnight until completely frozen.
5. Carefully melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler. I recommend mixing optional oil into the melted chocolate for a smoother sauce that coats the clusters much more easily.
6. Take a chunk of healthy chocolate strawberry yogurt from the freezer and dip it in chocolate. Place back in the freezer for a few minutes to harden the coating.
7. Eat cold and store in the freezer. Leftovers will stay fresh for up to 3 months if stored in a covered container.
