arrive directly

In Anguilla, you’ve traditionally had to travel via St. Maarten, with a transfer via ferry, private boat or short inter-island flight. It’s familiar territory for repeat visitors, but adds another leg to the day.

Newark Nonstop removes that layer.

Board at EWR and land directly at AXA. From the airport, Zemi Beach House is about a 10-minute drive east. You can arrive the same afternoon and walk along Shoal Bay East. It’s pretty hard to win.

Why Jemi Beach House?

Zemi is located directly on Shoal Bay East, one of Anguilla’s longest, uninterrupted stretches of white sand beach. The beach is flat and open, and the water flows in gradually, making swimming easy on most days.

The design reflects a contemporary Caribbean style, with light woods, clean lines, and expansive windows facing the ocean. Oceanfront rooms open out to balconies with panoramic views across the water. The ground floor suites have direct terrace access to the sandy beach. The multi-bedroom residences stay within the hotel’s main spaces and offer a family kitchen, living area and private plunge pool.

It’s luxurious, yet fun and tranquil. The atmosphere is perfect.

to 20 knotsThe hotel’s beachfront restaurant sits right on the sand and overlooks the ocean. The menu focuses on seafood and Caribbean flavors. That means locally caught grilled fish, seasonal lobster, and understated island spices. It’s the kind of place where lunch hours are long and dinner hours last until sundown.

that Rum Room It’s one of the island’s most unique spaces, with dark wooden walls, deep seating, and a collection of rums from across the Caribbean. It’s a pre-dinner stop that often turns into a second round.

The spa is built around a 300-year-old Thai house that was relocated to the property, making it unique from other wellness facilities on the island. Inside, treatments are offered incorporating Asian traditions in an environment that feels separate from the energy of the beach.

This is the hottest accommodation. Anguilla Right now, this is the core of what makes Anguilla so great. It’s a combination of sophistication and the coolness of bare feet, luxury and the refreshing feeling of touching your toes.

The Rum Room

The Rhum Room is one of the Caribbean’s signature rum bars and, in our opinion, one of the best rum selections of any rum bar in the region. Dark wooden walls, low lighting and a significant amount of rum collected from across the Caribbean contrast with the bright exterior. Bartenders will guide you through tastings through regional styles, from molasses to sugar cane juice and everything in between. This room can be used as a rest stop before dinner or as a late evening gathering spot once the beach is quiet. And if you are a lover of noble spirit, it is a must.

Anguilla’s Dining Depth

Anguilla’s reputation as a culinary island is no accident. There are about 100 restaurants spread across 16 miles of coastline, which is a very high density for its size.

Beach shacks and fine dining restaurants are within a short drive of each other. Lunch could mean grilled sea bream with rice and peas on the side of the road overlooking the water. For dinner, you can head to Veya’s hillside restaurant, seafood at Blanchards in Meads Bay or a tasting menu at Sharky’s in The Valley.

Reservations are important during peak season. Tables fill up early, especially along Meads Bay and Shoal Bay.

Staying at Zemi gives you access to a wider range of restaurants while staying on one of the island’s most powerful beaches. You can stay in accommodation or cycle through the island’s dining spots for a few nights without long drives or complex routes.

Why this stands out

Anguilla does not generally rely on airfare incentives. Hotel inventory across the island remains limited and peak season prices tend to remain firm.

By including round-trip airfare from Newark for guests staying three nights or more, this partnership lowers one of the most important cost barriers to visiting the island with state-of-the-art air service to the island.
