Add Italian sausage to a large 14-inch skillet. Cook over medium heat until no pink remains, 6 to 7 minutes, and crumbles. Drain off excess grease.
- Add garlic: Reduce the heat to medium, then add the garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
