Aer Lingus launches Dublin service to Barbados

Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. (BTMI) UK & Ireland has welcomed Aer Lingus’ new non-stop Dublin service to Barbados. The service strengthens the airline’s connectivity between the islands and expands Aer Lingus’ reach in the Caribbean region.

The launch of Aer Lingus’ new Dublin-Barbados service is the latest connection between the countries. Barbados established a permanent embassy in Dublin in 2024, signaling a commitment to deeper engagement between the two countries and building on historic relationships that go back centuries. The move also reflects our shared ambition to expand cooperation across tourism, culture and education, while making travel and business links closer than ever before.

BTMI UK and Ireland Director Élan Mottley-Harris said: “We are delighted to welcome Aer Lingus’ new direct service from Dublin to Barbados. This is a landmark development that reflects the growing appeal of Barbados as a unique year-round destination for Irish travellers.”

This service operates three days a week (Tuesday, Friday and Sunday) from March 31 to May 31. The flight departs Dublin at 13:50 and arrives at Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados at 18:00, while the return flight departs Bridgetown at 19:30 and arrives back in Dublin at 08:40 the next morning.

Aer Lingus will use its new fuel-efficient A321XLR aircraft on this route. It is a narrow-body aircraft with 16 business class seats and 168 economy class seats. Reservations are available and promotional rates are competitive. Fares start from EUR229 one way and include taxes, fees and airline charges.
