STELLA McCARTNEY KIDS HOST EARTH DAY POP-UP AT HARRODS
Stella McCartney Kids is hosting a special Earth Day pop-up at Harrods to re-engage our littlest eco-warriors through play.
Rooted in the brand’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and innovation, the activation focuses on the endless cycle of children’s clothing wardrobes. Rather than seeing this as a burden, see it as an opportunity for enjoyable interaction and education.
The Harrods space will be transformed into a space designed to inspire creativity and connection through play, showcasing the Stella McCartney Kids Spring Summer 2026 collection, a collection that celebrates our plant and animal friends through vibrant colors and imaginative prints.
Guests are invited to take part in a series of engaging activities including upcycling-inspired crafts, temporary tattoos and face painting. Craft workshops introduce a fun approach to reuse and imagination. Here, guests are encouraged to transform clothing items they no longer use into sock puppet farm pals.
Conventional cotton uses 16% of the world’s pesticides and 6% of all pesticides. Every year, 150 million trees are cut down to make textiles. Traditionally, wool has been processed through chemical treatments that can slow its decomposition in landfills and introduce residual pollutants into the environment. Stella McCartney Kids uses conscious materials including organic cotton, forest-friendly viscose and responsibly sourced wool. This fabric is good for children’s sensitive skin, animals and the planet.
As part of Harrods’ wider in-store plans, it will also feature a clothing donation box from TRAID, a UK-based charity working to change fashion for the better. Customers are encouraged to bring clothing items from any brand for TRAID to collect, sort and resell through its network of charity shops. Extends the life of your clothing while reducing clothing waste.
Stella McCartney Kids’ immersive store experience, open to the public, will run from 12:00 to 17:00 on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 April.
The Stella McCartney Kids Spring Summer 2026 collection is available to shop online now at stellamccartney.com.
