Bodycam footage shows the moment a New York police officer on patrol on horseback chases a suspected purse thief through a city street.
NYPD officers repeatedly yelled at the woman not to run, but she refused. Eventually, the woman was stopped by a pedestrian and taken into police custody.
The woman was charged with theft and making false statements. Authorities said the woman had previously served time in prison after being convicted of murder in the April 2000 shooting of a taxi driver.
