The King and Queen spent the last day of their state visit to the United States in New York City.
The pair started the day by paying their respects at the 9/11 Memorial downtown and later parted ways in the afternoon. Queen Camilla encouraged children’s literacy by reading ‘Winnie the Pooh’ to children at the New York Public Library, while King Charles visited a community group in Harlem and fed chickens.
The King and Queen concluded their state visit with a celebration of the King’s Trust charity’s 50th anniversary at Rockefeller Centre, where Global Ambassador Lionel Richie spoke.
