You feel placed exactly where you belong and completely connected to everything around you.

The road leads through sugarcane fields, where cultivated fields meet dense vegetation. The proximity is striking. The source material is located within sight, just beyond the building.
In some areas, forests reach the edges of the workings.

Starting with young rums with their original character of fresh, vegetal and precise cane, we move through the different expressions. This is then an aged version shaped over time in barrels in the same rainforest conditions around the distillery.

As you drive into northern Martinique, you pass through small villages and the closer you get to the mountains, the more dense the forest becomes. The roads are narrow and curved, reinforcing the feeling that you are heading to a specific place.
The distillery offers guided tours of the production process and farm and tastings.
You should plan on at least half a day. The journey itself is part of the experience and once you arrive there is enough to enjoy at a slower pace.
Closed-toed shoes are recommended, especially if you plan to explore beyond the main area.
