CDC says Americans affected by Ebola outbreak
The Ebola outbreak in Africa has affected some Americans, according to the CDC. There is no vaccine for the deadly strain of the virus that has spread to the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda.
“People are dying. I don’t have a drug. We have a candidate vaccine, and we have a candidate drug that’s pursuing this route. Hopefully we’ll have something in the next few weeks.”
