A Danish food company was fined for failing to notify authorities of the detection of listeria bacteria.
Agustson was fined DKK 80,000 ($12,400) by the Danish Food, Rural Affairs and Fisheries Agency. But the company said the results were documented internally and “there was no attempt” to withhold information or act irresponsibly.
