After weeks of renovations, water has started flowing again into the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
President Donald Trump kicked off the project in early April, which includes resurfacing the pool, fixing leaks and painting it “American flag blue.” President Trump initially said the project would cost $2 million (£1.5 million), but federal records show it is now expected to cost $13.1 million.
The BBC spoke to tourists to find out their reaction to the newly completed swimming pool and new colours.
