The United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today that Power Plate Meals LLC, a West Fargo, ND, cooperative interstate delivery facility, is recalling 5,795 pounds of frozen meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes due to misbranding and undeclared allergens.
This product contains soy, a known allergen not listed on the product label. People with a sensitivity or allergy to soy may be at risk of serious reactions, including death, if they consume the product.
The item Frozen Meatloaf with Garlic Mashed Potatoes was manufactured from June 25, 2025 to June 10, 2026.
FSIS is concerned that some of the products may be in consumers’ freezers. Consumers who have purchased the product in question are advised not to consume the product. These products must be discarded or returned to the place of purchase.
The following products are being recalled:
- A 13.3-ounce vacuum-sealed plastic tray package contains “Power Plate Meal Meatloaf with Garlic Mashed Potatoes” and a “Use By” date of 6/25/26 to 6/10/27.
The recalled products have the establishment number “217SEND” inside the USDA inspection mark. This item was shipped to distributors in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
The problem was discovered when state investigators notified FSIS that the final label did not include soy in its ingredient list.
There are no confirmed reports of adverse effects from consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about a reaction should contact their health care provider.
