Rangers have signed Hull City goalkeeper Ivor Pandur for £6m.

The 26-year-old, who is currently playing for Croatia at the World Cup, has signed a four-year contract with the Ibrox club.

Pandour moved to Hull City in 2024 and featured in all but one Championship game last season, keeping clean sheets in both the play-off semi-finals and final as promotion to the Premier League was secured.

On signing for Rangers, Pandur said: “I am honored and privileged to sign for such a big club with such a long history. This club knows how to win and that is why I joined Rangers.

“I can’t wait to hear the noise from Ibrox for the first time and hope we can succeed together.”

Manager Derek McInnes added: “We are delighted to bring Ivor to Rangers. He is a goalkeeper with great presence and strong character.

“He has shown his quality, is at a good stage in his career and we believe he can be a leading figure for the club.”

Butland moved to Glasgow in 2023 and has made over 150 appearances for Rangers, having previously played for a number of English clubs including Birmingham, Stoke and Crystal Palace.

Before his transfer was made official, he posted a farewell note to Rangers on Instagram.

“Three years ago I made the decision without hesitation to join this great football club and I am very happy to have done so. It has been a rollercoaster but I have always tried to represent the club in the best way I can, on and off the pitch and I will leave with great pride knowing that I have truly given my all to the fans, the club and my team-mates.”
