Cherry Cheesecake Fluffy Ingredients

- Switch crust. Graham crackers are classic, but vanilla wafer or shortbread cookies also work. If you’re changing the crust, skip adding the sugar and just mix the crust with the butter.
- Pudding Mix: Instant vanilla pudding also works. For the homemade cheesecake layer, beat 16 ounces softened cream cheese, 3/4 cup sugar, and 2 teaspoons vanilla until smooth. Let cool for 30 minutes before layering.
- Cherry Topping Adjustment: Use 1 can for a thinner layer, ⅔ can like I did, or 2 full cans for added cherry flavor. More filling may result in softer slices.
- Use homemade whipped cream: Beat 2½ cups cold heavy cream and ½ cup powdered sugar until stiff peaks form, then spread over the cherry layer.
- Add crunch: Top with crushed graham crackers or sliced almonds for added texture.
